Circles, circles and more circles dance around a large center circle.

Teaching objections:
- Learn to stitch Jessicas with ease and confidence
- Paint a background to enhance the open stitches
- Explore several complex and layered stitches with a variety of textures
The class begins with students painting a background, using sponges and water based paints. Then several circular stitches are added to the design, some open that allow the background canvas to show through, and some solidly covering the canvas.

Stitches include Jessicas, Rhodes stitches, smooth spider webs, 4 trip herringbone, brick, Parisian, Hungarian, Scotch, byzantine, Milanese, detached buttonhole, couched lines and layered Jessicas.
