FANDANGO

Do double fan doubleds make you shudder? Have you passed on a project because it had double fans and double fan doubleds in it? Fandango is the class for you!

Teaching Objectives:

  • Explore several sizes and shapes of Fan stitches
  • Encourage stitchers to develop a natural stitching rhythm
  • Promote ease and confidence when stitching fan stitches
  • Recommended for basic to intermediate stitchers

Fan stitches are twisty stitches most commonly associated with Jean Hilton. This project explores fans, double fans, double fan doubleds and Kitty’s double fan doubled (a double fan doubled around a double fan doubled), along with other stitches to round out the design.

Four color ways are offered: Bold – Aquamarina canvas with orange, purple and turquoise threads; Grayscale – Pewter canvas with grays to black threads with red accents; Monochromatic – Eggshell canvas with beiges to browns threads, and Pastel – Antique Blue canvas with pastel blues, yellows, lavenders and pinks.

Fandango is a companion to Mostly Amadeus, Mostly Jessicas, Mostly Crescents, Mostly Walnetos and Mostly Herringbones.
