Rondo is a musical term referring to a composition’s structure, usually a refrain recurring four times with contrasting couplets.
Teaching objectives:
- Encourage stitchers to approach “twisty” stitches with ease and confidence
- Explore complex and layered stitches with a variety of textures
Ronda features a layered partial Jessica over crescents arranged tip to tip, with wrapped ray stitches flanking the Jessica. Several couched ribbons or threads surround the center motif, outlined with beads. Layered crescents with nautilus crescents expand the design from the center, with woven satin stitches, Amadeus stitches, interrupted waffle stitches, sprat’s heads and star waffles.

Available in original color way of blue/yellow/green, or in a grayscale color way with blue, yellow or green accent colors.
Stitches include layered partial Jessica, crescents, wrapped rays, couching, layered crescents, nautilus crescents, woven satin stitch, Amadeus, layered cross stitch, waffle, sprat’s head, and star waffles
