A very subtle addition to the Stitch Along, but I wanted to frame out the center to make it a little more diamond shaped. I chose a diagonal fern stitch, and used the lavender color since it has only been used one other place.
This is a very narrow band – the vertical and horizontal stitches cover 3 canvas threads rather than the usual 4 as I’ve seen it mostly diagrammed. Like most stitches, variations can be made to fit to a particular size or shape.
