We are certainly living in strange times. As we approach Good Friday and Easter, I thought I’d just share some of my Easter decorating. Of course, these are my own work, both stitched and ceramic. (Did any of you do ceramics in a past life? I did in the ’70s!)
The eggs on sticks are my Easter Parade designs:
These are quite large, counted canvas designs, for the most part stitched with floss, #8 pearl cotton and Kreinik #8 braid.
The eggs in the stand are my Fun and Funky Easter Eggs:
These are smaller, mostly floss, and embellished with some Mill Hill buttons.
Both charts include finishing instructions to make them into eggs.
In these uncertain times, isn’t it nice that we have our stitching!
