If you’re passionate for purple, this month’s Kit of the Month is for you!

Purple people – you know who you are! – rejoice! We’ve got loads of purple for you this month!

First, the project – Passionista features an Amadeus heart motif, with Rhodes heart borders and pavilion diamonds background. You’ll be surprised how quickly you can stitch this impressive motif! The background and border will take a bit longer, but not too long; the whole project is very doable in just 4-6 hours.

I chose Dinky Dyes Silk Perle 1900d Dragon Fruit (love that name) for the heart motif, Dinky Dyes silk floss Orchid for the border, and Dinky Dyes silk floss Fuchsia for the background, all on pewter 18 ct. mono deluxe canvas.

Note: when I stitched the model I was using an older dye lot so the color is a bit different for the background. I like the newer dye lot that is included in the kit better, not as much pink, but more subtle shades of purple blended with white and just a hint of pink.
