Rising like a golden crown, the sun touches the mountain scape and highlights the peaks, meadow and lake.
Golden Majesty captures the essence of a mountain sunrise (or sunset).
The project features several overdyed threads in cottons and silks. Stitchers will be encouraged to add their own personal touches to the clouds, sparkling water and meadow flowers.
What will you learn?
- Compensation, lots of compensation! The line drawn canvas makes it easier to see where to compensate.
- Add your personality to the embellishments to make a unique project
- Explore several different textures of threads
The design size is about 8″ x 8″, with a canvas cut size of 14″ x 14″ to allow plenty of room for finishing. French blue 18 ct. mono deluxe canvas provides a nice background color for the sky, and is completely covered by the other stitches.

- 14″ x 14″ French blue 18 ct. mono deluxe canvas, line drawn with taped edges
- Caron Collection Watercolours and Waterlilies
