Silvered Evergreens Ornament 2021 Chart

Thank you so much for supporting DebBee’s Designs through the years! I hope you like this year’s ornament.

The chart is free, absolutely no cost, but this year I have prepared a kit to go with the free chart. The kit includes 8″ x 8″ pewter 18 ct. canvas with taped edges, full cards of Rainbow Gallery Silk Lame’ Braid SL 81 Platinum, Silk Lame’ Braid SL86 Deep Forest Green, Neon Rays N02 White, Neon Rays+ NP32 Spruce Green, 2 4″ x 4″ pieces of matboard for finishing, 6″ x 6″ piece of fabric for covering the back, and a size 22 tapestry needle. (Cording and glue not included.)

In the free chart I include instructions for finishing exactly as shown. Also, in case you don’t want a 4″ x 4″ ornament, the chart includes instructions for reducing the size of the ornament.

I started with something different, but after stitching the first part of the design I liked the looks of it so much I made the entire ornament with a single pattern, floral cross. To me it looks like very elegant wrapping paper, so I finished the ornament with a bow to enhance the wrapped present look. Of course, feel free to change the colors as you please to suit your decorating style! The entire ornament only took about 4 hours, from mounting the canvas to finishing, so you have plenty of time to stitch an ornament for your group’s exchange, to give as a gift or keep for yourself.
