I love the Olympics! Once every four years, you can find me glued to the television, watching as many of the events as I can. It doesn’t matter what the event, whether I know anything about it or not, I still watch! I have to admit, I get a lump in my throat and misty eyed every time the national anthem is played during the medals ceremonies. I’m sure whatever your country, your sport, your favorite athlete, the Olympics is definitely must watch!

Sports Stars is perfect to stitch while watching your favorite athlete/sport/event. The central star motif is layered with 4 stars, with a center of 3 layered Jessicas. Reverse scotch marches toward the center, and a double herringbone border completes this design.

Sports Stars is finished with a flat finish and a cording hanger. I’m putting it in the acrylic coaster I used for Picante!, our previous Year of Color design, but the design will work as a small framed piece, box top or ornament.

Sports Stars is the the same size as the previous two Year of Color projects, Bargello Belle and Picante!
