A lovely opulent project celebrates glorious fall colors in Autumn Splendor! I was going for some over-the-top flourishes in this design, and I hope I’ve achieved it!
The center motif features layered Jessicas surrounded by three shapes of crescents. Small Rhodes squares form the outside border with a lattice filled with French knots to complete the design.
I added some sparkle with Rainbow Gallery Silk Lame’ Braid, and Presencia Finca Mouline cotton floss make this an accessible, low-investment, low-risk design. If you’ve not attempted “twisty” stitches before I hope you’ll give Autumn Splendor a try! Very large step by step diagrams guide you through the entire project – you can do it!
I did a quick flat finish, with cording and a hanging loop, but I displayed it with my fall table arrangement. Of course you can finish any way you like that fits in with your fall decor!
