What celebration of color would be complete without holiday colors! I’m not much into ghosts and goblins, but I do love the colors – orange, black, purple, green – so this project packs all these colors in this small space.
Boo! features a large center motif, and note these are NOT Jessicas – no need to fear! Then there are several additional stitches, including spider webs, knotted stitch, and more. I used Rainbow Gallery Silk Lame’ Braid and DMC floss for this one, on a pewter canvas. And, there’s time to stitch it before Halloween!
I finished my Boo! into a small black frame, purchased at the big box craft store. The outside edges are 5 1/2″ x 5 1/2″. It comes with a precut mat, but the mat was a little small, only 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″, so I had to cut a new one. Here’s a link to the frame details:
And of course, you can finish however you like, but this one was really fast and I liked the little hanging chain.
