Do you remember chasing the ice cream truck? Hearing the music from blocks away would send us chasing to find the coins so we could get something cold and delicious on those hot summer days!
Summer Delights bursts with beautiful colors that bring to mind strawberry, mint and vanilla ice cream! The pattern employs ThreadworX overdyed cotton floss and #8 metallic brad, with Presencia floss providing a backdrop on sage green canvas.
The center motif is one not often seen in needlepoint designs, a Maltese interlacing. I’ll guide you through this lovely motif step by step! The interlacing surrounds a 4 way Bargello motif, accented with cross stitches. Rhodes squares, alternating mosaic, French knots, and a layered border round out this design.
