Time to celebrate all things pumpkin spice with the prettiest pumpkin in the pumpkin patch! What is its destiny? Pumpkin pie (yummy – can’t wait for Thanksgiving!)? Centerpiece of the fall decor? Even Cinderella’s coach?
November’s Kit of the Month is Pumpkin Patch, a glorious pumpkin surrounded by leaves in the pumpkin patch! Backstitched leaves and vines provide a nice background for the solidly stitched pumpkin – gobelin, alternating continental, alternating nobuko, diagonal mosaic, mosaic, diagonal brick, diagonal scotch and diagonal cashmere, with a chain stitched stem.
For this month’s kit I’ve selected Rainbow Gallery threads: Mandarin Floss in 3 colors (M815 Rust, M871 Bright Orange and M914 Loden Green), Entice E220 Marmalade and Panache PN30 Halloween Orange. The kit includes a line drawn sandstone 18 ct. canvas with bound edges, 8″ x 8″ square, and a size 22 tapestry needle.
Finishing instructions are included in the leaflet, and we have a finishing kit available with pumpkin printed fabric (2 squares of 8″ x 8″), a 6″ x 6″ solid mat board, a 6″ x 6″ mat board with 4″ x 4″ window, and a 5″ x 5″ square of batting. Cording and glue not included.
