Retreats, pilots and classes

The Flip Side

When it’s cold and dreary in January and February our thoughts turn to happier times, getting together with stitching friends, perhaps taking a class or two, and planning our stitchy travels for the year.

This year, I’m teaming up with Kurdy Biggs, of Threedles, to offer a stitching retreat. This isn’t just a retreat! We are testing our upcoming classes for national seminars, called “piloting”, to refine the instructions and our presentations, so we are better prepared when seminar time rolls around.

We are each offering two classes. All four of the classes are 2-day classes, and we have our retreat structured so you can take both classes from one teacher, or one class from each teacher.

If you’ve always wanted to have an in-person experience, but seminar is inconvenient, you might want to join us! Of course, we’d love for everyone to go to seminar because the experiences offered go far beyond just the classes. But, consider our pilot retreat as an option!

Kurdy is teaching 2 classes, Raffie and Just For Fun:

I’ll be teaching 2 classes as well, The Flip Side and A New Leaf:

Our retreat will be in the Chicago area. All the details, including registration, are at a special website: https://www.canvascountess.com/

We also have hotel suggestions for those who need it, on the website.

We hope you’ll join us!

  1. I was wondering if you are selling the Gilded Cabochons pattern or are you still teaching it – I’m very much interested in this pieces. Thanks
