The look of quilting with a needlepoint stitch!

Stitching with yellow again, but this time with sparkle! The quilted stitch is a wonderful little stitch that has lots of texture in a relatively small area. I chose this stitch for the small triangles at the points of the almost diamond.

You can find the next part of the stitch along instructions here: Stitch Along Part 10

I’ve added the diagrams for this stitch to the end of the previous instructions. If you’re new to the Stitch Along, everything from the first stitch is in the instructions!

I used a fine metallic braid for this stitch, because I needed some “bling”. It’s very unusual for me to not have shiny sparkly threads in my projects, and this one has been somewhat restrained to this point.

We have one more stitch to frame the center, then we’re on to the corners. Enjoy!
