I don’t know where you are, but here it’s cold! and the wind is blowing! and all I want to do is to snuggle in my big comfy chair with a good book, my blanket and a cup of hot chocolate!
This month for our I created a cup of hot chocolate, in a beautiful mug with a candy cane handle, topped with whipped cream and marshmallows. The mug was inspired by my daughter’s holiday dishes, big blue mugs with snowflakes that hold plenty of coffee, tea or hot chocolate!
Pavilion diamonds form the background for the mug, overstitched with Dutch stitch variation “snowflakes”. The handle is a padded satin stitch candy cane, and the whipped cream is ruched Frosty Rays. Finish everything with some marshmallows, created with French knots using Petite Very Velvet.
The kit includes an 8″ x 8″ Victorian Green mono deluxe 18 ct. canvas, with taped edges and screen printed design; full cards of Rainbow Gallery Frosty Rays Y217 White Pearl Ice, Petite Frosty Rays PY071 Christmas Red Gloss, Mandarin Floss M902 Sky Blue, Petite Very Velvet V602 White and Silk Lame’ Braid SL02 White, with two size 22 tapestry needles.
This month’s finishing kit includes 2 pieces of white mounting board, 4″ x 4″, 1 piece of green canvas 4″ x 4″, and printed cotton fabric with holiday mugs, 8″ x 6″. When ordered with the kit it ships in the same envelope at no additional charge!
This month’s display stand is blue PLA printed with white “snowflakes”, the perfect way to display your finished project.

Debbie I have enjoyed every one of the 12 mini projects this year. Thank you for designing and packaging these projects and sending them to me in England. I look forward to next year’s surprises.
