Rhodes stitches are one of the work horses of counted canvas work, and this project is all Rhodes stitches in several sizes and shapes. This is a good project for beginners or those new to counted canvas. Square, diamond, rectangle, oval, round, heart and even butterfly shapes – you’ll learn how to do all of them!
The model as shown was stitched with Sullivan #5 pearl cottons and cotton flosses, but the threads are easily changed to other brands or even different colors.

Don’t usually like open canvas, but this is absolutely gorgeous. Lavender is my favorite color and the stitches are just plain fun. Love almost all Debbie’s designs. Wish I had time to do more. Love them.
