This addition is small, but it helps to create a shape for the next stitches. Sprat’s heads are one of my favorite stitches and I use them a lot. The sprat’s head can be altered to fit an area, as here, or serve as an impressive stand alone motif.
I chose a soft lavender Gloriana silk floss, but I encourage you to look through your stash to find your threads. That’s actually what I’m doing, but my stash may be more extensive than most! And, I’m using subtle variegated threads, but solids are fine too.
Here’s the next part of the instructions: 2026 Stitch Along Part 3
The new instructions have been added to the end of the previous instructions, pages 10-11. If you haven’t started yet because you’re waiting to see where I’m going, that’s fine – the instructions will be together for you when you’re ready!

I would like to join this group, too. What do I need to do, please?
